Latex VacRacks are great fun for boys – especially when there are access points for the good things to play with. The vacuum noise can be a bit much if you’re using a shopvac. I use a FesTool vacuum from my wood shop which has a variable speed – fast to seal them in then slow to maintain vacuum. It seems to be more pleasant than the ShopVac I was using.
